Over the past two months, Vanessa Valdiglesias and Natalia Fernández from NanoToxGen visited several high schools and vocational training centres as part of the UDC’s scientific outreach program (Divulgación Científica UDC). During these visits, a diverse group of students had the opportunity to attend an informative talk on toxicology, the science of poisons.
This initiative seeks to introduce students to the field of toxicology in a dynamic and engaging manner. It aims to highlight the significance of toxicological studies and their various applications, from occupational health prevention to the development of new pharmaceuticals.
